THE AGENCY

PBJCEOC is committed to alleviating poverty and to assisting low-income individuals and families to secure knowledge, skills and opportunities to become self-sufficient and lead lives of dignity.

Through its centers and special projects, PBJCEOC provides a community based system of service provisions to and advocacy for the low-income, to meet their needs and to enhance the quality of their lives, regardless of race religion, age, sex, handicap or national
origin PBJCEOC provides some services directly and refers people to other available services. Some of the activities focus on meeting the immediate and basic needs (e.g., food and shelter, other activities facilitate long-term effects (e.g., education and employment).
